Homestead Life List
Ok, on this page I will list all the wildlife I’ve seen at the North Country Homestead.
Birds:
- Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus)
- Pileated Woodpecker (Dryocopus pileatus)*
- White-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis)
- Downy or Hairy Woodpecker-couldn’t make a positive id since they are so similar! I need my binoculars!
Mammals:
- Eastern Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
- Domestic cat (Felis catus)
